I just bought a junker 2.3 5 speed 90 Mustang to build for 24 hrs of Lemons. I'm looking for fun stuff to do with it before and after. I'm no stranger to drag racing, but am new to all the rest. I think this would make a decent mini stock dirt car, but I don't know where they run that class. Plus I have all my teeth and might not be welcome on the dirt track. Maybe rally cross? Does anyone have any suggestions for fun in a junker in the Dallas area??????
Well, we are trying to get RallyCross going again in the DFW area. But nothing is scheduled at the moment. There are a couple of tracks around the area that run mini-stock but then the car would not be very good for Lemons as it would not want to turn right.

Who around here runs mini stocks? I don't know any dirt track guys to ask and haven't found anything online, I'm looking into solo now...
We used to go to the track at Royse City. However, it is now a high school. I will try to look in the Dallas Morning News in Monday's edition as they are pretty good about reporting local racing. I know I have seen mini-stock reported there. And I just gave away a SAAB 99 body for a guy who races mini-stock.
