That, too. I appreciate that they keep the choices simple and few. But. I want a 6spd AWD Grand Touring with cloth, the Touring wheels, Deep Crystal Blue Mica. And i don't want to get forced into the tan interior just because i wanted a blue car.

Long time ago, in a land far away, if you had a dealer that was smart- they could bypass the system and order by build codes. Make things that didn't exist. Rumors of manual Lincoln ls v8s and the like. I've had at least one ford rep confirm that story for me. Looooong shot, but maybe try and convince a Mazda dealer to do it? I actually have a dealer that probably would, but you'd need the build codes. You'd basically be designing your Vin from.scratch.
