Ten days ago, you told us that you bought a lift for your garage. Today, I sold my motorcycle.
See what you've started?

Hey, don't blame me!!
What are you going with???
10 days ago? Wow. Now I'm waiting for the replacement to arrive. I have NO patience so paying the money and waiting more than 10 days to be able to use it is tough.
Yep, I've been corrupted too. All that talk and then links to the maxjack got me thinkin. Wife already gave me the thumbs up. Just not sure if I'm willing to give up that extra kidney...
Hey, I'm just trying to help a brutha out!
I've been jonesin' for a lift for a long time. Once I saw this little mid-rise in action I though "why isn't this already in my garage?" I figured there's plenty on here that are tired or working on a creeper getting rust in our eyes.
I got a very pleasant surprise as I went to go take care of some fenders on an STi, and the guy had it.... on a 4 post lift in his garage.... it was a beautiful thing.

Yeah, I was able to get my mini over in the corner with a minivan in the garage and still work around them both. A full-sized car like a Smart car would NEVER allow me to do that.

Not exactly sure yet. In the course of learning more about the MaxJax, I stopped at Overhead Door to ask if I could mount my opener at an angle. They guy said that I if I'm putting in a lift, I might as well take full advantage of my 10.5 foot ceilings. He told me about high lift conversions for garage doors. He also had a Liftmaster 3800 jackshaft door opener on display and it was really nice.
I went home and found a DIY explanation from a place that sells high lift conversion kits and I'm going to order one tomorrow. I also ordered the Liftmaster from another place.
Once I get the garage door moved up in about a week, I'll make the decision on the lift. It's definitely going to be a two post, but I might do something permanent instead of the MaxJax. That way, I would be able to stand under the car and maybe double up on the parking space.
Slippery slope we got here...
I want one of those 1/2 height lifts.
I do not have enough ceiling clearance but getting the car off the ground to do real would would be so nice.
Even worst with the way the ceiling is done I can not take advantage of the higher section and the garage door extends past.
Hmm wonder if I could go down into the floor :)

That's the Max Jax.

Hmmm...I may be in this boat (lift shopping) soon enough. We have a contract on 16 acres and a 40x64 pole barn that's 16' high. Excellent!
My problem will be swallowing the pill that is pouring a concrete floor in it. I don't even want to know how much that is going to cost.
So...just being able to store stuff there for a while will still be plenty helpful for me.

That's what I got. Shipping was free but it came from in state, so I had to pay tax. Total including shipping, tax and two remotes was $343.46

This sentence has never been written until now. Congrats.
