I have a relative who is "not mechanically inclined". This relative had his oil changed at a quickie-lube type place yesterday. The technician put the following comment on the repair order:
Oil leak ATOA
I'm drawing a blank, and the car is 200 miles away. Any idea what ATOA means?

Automatic Transmission Oil Access?
I'd just call them. It's probably a generic term they use for any oil leak.

What ethnicity is the writer? The term "a toa" means "insignificant" in Portuguese.
At Time Of Arrival?
Meaning the tech noticed an oil leak and didn't want it blamed on his work?

Sounds plausible. It is a GM product - surprised it wasn't ATOM (At Time Of Manufacture)
Thanks!
