Or get a pre 1994 1uzfe from a wrecked ls400 for 400$ (like I did!) and turbo and megasquirt for 850hp and up. Proof. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=-eHRbes7fwE
But how many stock 1uz have you seen hold anywhere near that power? All I ever see is internet lore that they are amazing but everything I see where people actually put a turbo or supercharger on, they don't last long at all. Is your naturally aspirated? Have you dynoed it? I make more hp and torque with a mostly stock 4cyl than my friends sc400 with bolt ons does.

Sounds like someone doesn't have a 1uzfe. But seriously, if you hang around the Australian forums, the 1uzfe is so revered it's old news and boring. Thats why you don't hear about them. And sure, with today's tech you can make "more power than that v8" with a four cylinder. But how much did you pay for that power? How new is your engine? I'd like to see you take that old of an engine, and make that much power, using only that amount of money. You can't do it buddy.

My engine is a 1988, originally designed in the 60s...wtf are you talking about? It's got 200hp and 250ft lbs of torque and I built it with parts I had lying around and a couple things from the junkyard. I have $600 in THE ENTIRE CAR. Please tell me more about this new fangled technology, mine doesn't even have dohc like the 1uz.

In reply to chiodos:

Wtf? You got a 3tg? Old school Toyota is the exception. Those engines made ridiculous power.
