I've never heard had much luck trying to do alignments in the dark. It's too hard to read the tape measures

Once you know how far out of level your "setup area" is, you can always correct camber measurements and caster calculations to suit. If it's less than about 1/8" out of level laterally across a 60" track width, you're about to get below the resolution of commonly available angle finders and it may not even be worth the trouble to compensate the measured camber angles for.
