I've been looking for a set of 5 X 4.75" wheels that are styled like the classic panasport/minilite wheels, but have been unable to find any. It may just be that my Google-fu is weak. Anyone know if they exist at all? Everything I find is 4 lug, usually 4x100mm.
You check summit? Thats where I've been buying my 5x4.75 wheels. Looks like theres a Cragar thats close-ish.
Also I have A LOT of vinyl ready for you whenever.
VTO wheels have a minilite style wheel that they will custom drill. Example
RS-Watanabe, but they are $$$.
As dumb as the forum is otherwise, the Stanceworks 5x120 classifieds are a great place to find less-common wheels in any given fitment.

I haven't seen any Cragars that are close enough, although Soft8 wheels are a close second in what I want to put on the truck.
You aren't going to be up at Opie's on the 12th, are you? If not, I'll see about getting down to the shop sometime soon.

Thank you! That is pretty much exactly what I want. Prices are a little steeper than I'd prefer, but at least I know they exist, so I can keep an eye out for a set of used 15x7 or 16x7 wheels. Or just suck it up and buy a set new after the challenge.

The build threads on that forum rival the build threads on this forum. It's just no where near as active as it used to be.
Aren't 5x 4 3/4 common to the Corvette and Camaro?

VTO wheels are not badly priced compared to actual Panasports. I have an ongoing eBay search for Panasports (keep hoping to find a 14 x6" set in Spitfire drilling).
What diameter/width are you looking for? If you dig through eBay you can usually find the common sizes.

Yup. I'm thinking of putting them on a lowered S10

Vintage Wheel Works makes a Minilite-inspired wheel with their V48, but they are kinda pricey and 16x8" is the smallest
Superlite wheels in Australia makes this style, and will do whatever drill/offset you want. That's where I got my staggered setup for the GT6, and IIRC they were pretty affordable.

Konig rewinds. $75/wheel if you go with the sponsorship program
Trans Am Race Engineering offers Superlites in a variety of diameters (13", 14", 15" and 17") widths, backspacing, and BCP.

I would check out the Rota RB. It comes in a gazillion sizes but I'm not sure if they do any five lug wheels. We have them on our MGB. Also be sure to check ebay because Rota's website is hell to try to find anything useful. They don't even have all the sizes/specs listed that they actually produce, like the ones on our B.
VTO has good options:

I've been running VTO wheels on my TR6, and I've been very pleased with the fit and finish. They also look great. They are also good people to deal with. They've even vended at the Mitty several times!
As mentioned, Konig rewinds are also a good choice, and they are also good folks to deal with:
Koing Rewind
And yes, both of these companies help to make this board possible by advertising with GRM / CMS. Hopefully they can help you out!
Thanks everyone. It looks like nothing is likely to be cheap enough for me to run in the challenge, unless I find a deal on used wheels. However, afterwards, I'll have to decide on this or a set of Soft8s. It's nice to know there are options out there.
Btw - Konig Rewind was the first thing I looked at, but it looks like they are 4 lug only.

Will not be at Opies, but stop by whenever. Its also nbd for us to hang onto it for awhile.
Team III makes a very nice take on the mini-lite. Fully customizable offsets too.

I remember seeing these a few months ago. If the stars align and I actually get a '69 Charger, it'll get a set of these in 17". Unless I come into serious $$$ in which case I'll have the same company make a set of General Lee style Turbine wheels in a 17" size.
