It's a 1/24th scale model I had started building for a contest here years ago. Last night my Husky, Cherokee took the back tires and wheels right off the workbench and chewed them up. It is the Union kit from Japan. A McLaren M7A. Is there anyplace I can get replacement tires and wheels for this. I hate to throw it away after all this work.

That is a tuffy. Very rare kit, but the wheels & tires are in all of the Heller F1 kits as well. The Union kits are from the same molds. I don't have spares at the present time, but do not give up!

I think it was made by Union based on an old Heller kit. I can't find anything about them online.
I know it sounds strange but I am depressed about not being able to finish this one. The back tires were so nice and very realistic.
I can't really get mad at the dog. He is an old guy I rescued from a puppy mill many years ago.
Looks like a job for 3D printed replacements or 3D-printed molds for molding replacements...maybe you could even improve on the originals.

Just bought another one of these Union kits on E-Bay from Japan. There will be parts left over for another build. What needs a Costworth DFV engine swap and an F1 spoiler?

Could you put the two fronts on the same side and display it so you can't see the other one? Or maybe a pit stop/garage diorama with one side/end in the air...

The bad news is that the second kit is still in Japan and won't get here until the middle of April. More bad news is that the dog got one velocity stack and the oil pump from the engine.
If you can wait for this stuff and put up with a couple of missing engine parts, how about I put all that is left after I finish the car minus what the dog ate and put it in the mail and just send it to you. If you want, you can make a donation to my dog rescue group in the name of McLaren eating huskies everywhere.
I might find more stuff in the backyard in a couple of days but I'm not sure you want any of that.
