Great video from another publication shows how awesome the Fiesta ST really is.
In rallying, it has little to do with the car and everything to do with the driver.
The Sprongl's of Fourstar Motorsports once podiumed nationally at Perce Neige in a fwd, open diff Suzuki Swift (the new Crappy one, not the old awesome one).
But I will give it to them, the Fiesta ST is a great chassis to rally with!

Those guys are legends. And super nice too. They've been running a Kia Optima turbo these days quite quickly!
God help me is the Focus RS does well enough for Ford that they decide to drop the 2.0L eco boost into the Fiesta with a limited slip and call it the Fiesta RS. I have enough trouble resisting getting a Fiesta ST.
Woah...you just blew my mind. That combination of letters had not yet crossed my mind for whatever reason. Fiesta RS....FIESTA RS. That would be flippin' amazing! Probably too manic a car for the American market though :P They'll neuter it for sure.

I don't think it'd be that over the top or neutered if they did it. I wouldn't expect AWD, just the 2.0L ecoboost, even more slick suspension bits and tricks and a magic differential.

I don't know about that - they say they're bringing the Focus RS in without changes. MY NEXT CAR!!!!!!
It would be cool if more of the manufactures started putting "real" diffs in these hot FWD cars. Something like the magical unit in the C7 would be awesome in a FWD, rather than just using DBW and braking and calling it LSD.

That irritates me too. Doing that electronically is not a "limited slip differential", it's "traction control".
