Just grabbed a some and a couple more copies of the Challenge Issue to give as a "keep sake" for my sons.

That's Dave Chappelle
In reply to ProDarwin :
Damn really? My brain said Chris Rock and I even googled Chris Rock cocaine.
Edit ... wait a min ... Wikipedia says Chris Rock was Pookie in New Jack CIty.

Yeah you dropped the ball hard on that one. It's ok though, we forgive you.
Also I ordered a couple stickers. Thanks for making these available again.
In reply to 06HHR (Forum Supporter) :
Ok so at least I wasn't totally on crack. I just grabbed the wrong picture.
In reply to Stampie (FS) :
Yeah, google got you on that one. Search for Chris Rock cocaine and the first picture that pops up is Dave Chappelle, go figure..
In reply to 06HHR (Forum Supporter) :
Now I wanna watch New Jack City for the 20 millionth time. And plan out what vehicles get the Dork stickers.
In reply to 06HHR (Forum Supporter) :
I withdraw my prior judgement, I will say though I am more familiar with the Chappelle show skit and the memes that followed.
In reply to Daylan C (Forum Supporter) :
Makes sense, New Jack City is almost 30 years old now. It's a classic! That Chappelle skit is old enough to make babies I think.. (2004 ish?)
In reply to 06HHR (Forum Supporter) :
it's old enough that most parents would say I probably shouldn't have been watching it when it was new.
In reply to captdownshift (Forum Supporter) :
Oops! Sorry about that. Could you email me the address you were shipping to so I can investigate?
Ordered. Along with 2 more t-shirts which brings me up to about 17 GRM shirts (maybe not that many but my closet is full of GRM swag). Why the odd number? Because one was tragically lost when some horrible smelling gear lube from my Kia's transmission jumped right out of the drain pan and onto my chest. I tried to save it but it was too late .
He died doing what he loved; catching up on deferred maintenance on a Korean E36 M3box.
06HHR (Forum Supporter) said:10 + year delta between these images, Chappelle is definitely a student of the game. He based that character on Pookie in New Jack City. (No evidence of that but the first thing I thought of when I saw that skit was Pookie, "that stuff be calling me man!!")
