Or someone like my dad that doesn't want to drive stick any more after too many hockey injuries. Not that he can't, just that it is a chore.

and all of that is fine. but why install an engine with a 200 rpm wide torque table that almost requires clutch dumps from 9 grand to make power when you KNOW going in you are going to put an auto behind it?
