How nervous should one be about the noisy valvage?

Mine was noisy, adjusted valves, now not so noisy...

IIRC it should be done every 30k or so and many people skip over it.

It was cake next to T-belt/water pump replacement.

(well except for when the rubber vent tube was so brittle it went to pieces and I had to replace it with locally sourced tube which involved stretching one end to fit over the larger valve cover end, but I digress.. if your vent tube is old/hard, just order a new one from pelican before you start, $7 or so and would save a major headache)
