Not a canoe, I just thought there were enough people around here who might be interested in this. Besides, Eastwood is an advertiser.
I have been thinking about an Eastwood Fender Roller for a long time. (Yes, yes, I know. You did it yourself with a baseball bat and a hammer and your Civic is da bomb. You are the hero of cheap do it yourselfers everywhere...)
Yesterday, I noticed that they are on sale for almost 50% off. The Fender Finishing tool is also on sale for about $20. I ordered both for $150 plus shipping.

berkeleyING HELL. That stuff cost me nearly 400$ when I bought it. Thank god some smart maneuvering on my part saw other dopes pay for it within the first summer.....

I suspect that they might be discontinuing it.
Amazing deal on an amazing tool. Once you use one you will NEVER do it the old way with a bat or a 2 x 4 or anything but this again.
In reply to JG Pasterjak:
I can't say I agree.
I am really considering it.
I used the old bat on my Civic and it was a pain in the ass. But I don't know if I will use it again...

This is probably because the chinese companies they have make these are undercutting their own prices on Ebay and elsewhere and it's no longer worth it for them. Just a guess.

Have you ever used one of the Chinabay ones? They're terrible. Like..... Tab Clear terrible.
Woody, you may be directly responsible for my death, and the incarceration for life of my dear spouse.
However, with blame must come credit; my son may be able to use it to make a couple bucks on the side.
At $150 shipped, I couldn't pass it up. I've done the ol' baseball bat trip, but it's hard to be consistent.
This may (almost certainly will) be needed on the boy's Focus as we go a bit lower here, and WHEN (not if, positive thinking here) I get the Enkei 98's straightened and put on the 320, I'll use it again there, too.
Watch the news in Tucson next week. If you see the husband was murdered by the wife, please also use this post as an RIP venue for me.
Good lord that is a good deal! I don't really need to own one that bad, but with possibly wanting to roll the fenders on both of my present cars that almost pays for itself. Especially if afterwards I just let other people locally know that I have one and I would rent it out for $20 or $30.

You have bat skills that I do not possess, in that case.

Mine is a chinabay and other than some hilariously Engrish-y instructions and a sticker, is 100% identical to my buddy's Eastwood. Works just fine.
In reply to OldGray320i:
You may come out ok. It will probably be more awkward to beat you to death with the fender roller than it would have been with the bat.

Woody - we may finally have an excuse to meet up! I think some fender rolling on the drift E36 or rally MR2 might be a good idea...give you some practice before using it on a nice car.

Not really. But the eastwood tool couldn't roll the fenders lips on my mustang without distorting. Even then I wasn't able to get them rolled as far as I needed. I used a bat to finish the job the eastwood tool didn't.
I used the Eastwood roller on one of our WRX wagons. In the parking lot. Came out nicely.
Not sure I really NEED this, but HAD to order one.
So far I haven't had any rubbing issues with current wheels and tires on current vehicles, but you never know what the future has coming...

So what you're saying is that I should just go ahead and use a bat and hammer on the 911 then?

I'm telling you my experience on my car, nothing more. But I hope in either case you don't want to roll them very much, or your paint may crack. BTW, I only used a bat, no hammer.
You guys missed out. Labor Day weekend it was $89.99, AND the the free shipping (FREESHIPPING in the gift/coupon field) coupon worked on top of that.
They are on ebay for 120 shipped. This is for an eastwood branded sold by eastwood

vibe killer.... I still don't feel bad. Though I'm not sure yet how much being hit with the tool will hurt. Then I might feel bad.

Damn. I looked on eBay for the truck adapter, but not the tool itself.
Oh well, if I really wanted to save money, I'd just buy a baseball bat...
I had the harbor freight one then the Eastwood one and now have the Powered by max one. Harbor freight and Eastwood were identical and will not do a well lowered car or one with strong US metal fenders. The powered by max one will do a lowered car but also won't do strong US metal fenders. I found that starting it with a small hammer was enough to get it to go but it will not flatten them either way. Best bet is to trim the metal instead.
