What should starting fuel pressure be? I measured at 52-53 lbs with key on. Stuck at a cranking no start condition.
Pulling the ignition module/coil pack I can get spark (looks orange?) at each of the plugs.

spark sounds weak, most newer systems are blue or white sparks. Are you getting injector pulse? Give it a squirt of starting fluid.

What year/model vehicle is it in/from?
04 Grand Am Se with a manual.
Edit: A little background. Died last saturday after a few short trips ( Under 10 miles). My father was driving. Started the car, Put into reverse and drove backwards about 10-15 ft and stalled.
Previous to this, it was running flawless.
Alldata lists key ON engine OFF pressure at 50-60 PSi
Sounds like that isn't your problem
I did see more than a few problems reported with the crank sensor.
You have not thrown the chain/tensioner, have you?
Not as common on '04+ models but very common on earlier models.

I hope not...
The 2.2 Ecotec was first offered in the 2000 Saturn L-series. Here is a link from the owners.

Fuel pressure when engine is running only eliminates the pump, lines if I'm not mistaken. How long does it maintain pressure once the pump shuts off?

Engine isn't running. It's held pressure overnight

Right. My bad. I meant after you turned the power off (which shuts the pump off). If it has held pressure, you've ruled out leaky injectors, which wouldn't kill the engine easily anyway.
I'm with the spark guys. Swap the coil pack?
Here is a time when it sucks to be right.
2.2L's are cheap and plentiful.

Buy without the trans and it could be as cheap as $300 for the engine.

If you get a replacement engine, drop in fresh components kit before installing which can be gotten through RockAuto or eBay.
