I found a couple of very old threads stating it seems to help a bit. My truck (F-150 5.0L) is coming up on 200k miles. It uses about a quart of oil every 1k miles, but does have a leak around the oil pan and maybe rear main seal. It still runs well and fuel mileage is stable at 13.5-14mpg. It does feel a bit anemic at times though.
Would it be worth running a can of Restore to see if anything improves? I may try and do a compression test first since I haven't done that yet.

Ran some in my neon. Didn't stop oil consumption. Did run smoother and seem to have more power. No appreciable fuel economy.
That STP oil treatment seems to make my 190K-mile Toyota run a tad smoother. Might just be my imagination, though.
It wasn't recent, but I used to run it in one of my cars. I did a semi-scientific evaluation of it and found that it increased compression pressures in some low cylinders after running it for 500 miles. It didn't reduce oil consumption. I think that the question of whether or not it works will depend on what is wrong with the engine in the first place, and the only way to know would be to try it. But I'll say this - Restore is the only oil additive I've ever seen make any difference in an engine.
Ran a can in my 264k mile 305 vortec motor along with a swagman treatment. After that I got compliments about how well it ran. Could have been it or the seafoam or both.
Valoline has a high mileage oil that slowed the leak on my volvo. I think the 5qt-15w40 or 10w40 was like $17 at wally world. The level went from being down every day( 60 highway miles/weekday ), to being lower every 3-ish days. My leak was mostly caused by a RMS.
Oil guru lake speed says all additives are bad news. Thats good enough for me.
