Europa Racing Stripe Opinions

<img src="" /> <img src="" /> I've painted my Europa white with a green racing stripe and I'm contemplating adding two yellow stripes inside the green stripe. I've added them with electrical phasing tape just to see how it would look. I kinda like it but I'm getting mixed reviews from my family.

What do you guys think?

Edit, reread post and changed my mind. Those yellow stripes DO add to the car. Just don't add any more. Doing so will THEN equal pimp my ride....Looks good, reflects the heritage/lineage of Lotus.

I think it looks pretty sweet with the yellow stripes.

Good eye. Yup I've always liked the look of the Miata Daisies without the centre cap. Plus I got two sets of them for next to nothing.

I'd like to see some details on that roll bar.

I like the stripes. I'm also a big fan of those wheels. The car is coming along well. Unfortunately I had to get rid of the body you gave me, but it ended up going to someone braver than myself who already has one europa.

Keep the yellow -- very traditional.

I'll be the sole dissenter. I dig the simplicity of the single green. Sharp. Classic. Classy.

Another vote for the yellow, AND a big plus for continuing the stripe down to the valance (or whatever – as far down as the body goes, anyway.) That's Old School, and as far as I am concerned it's the right way to do it.
