I need to find an engine for a 2001 Eurovan.
2.8 V6, reman preferred.
Not for me, it's work related.
Anyone got a source?

long shot... but call Jeremy at Blough's in Freeport, MI. They tend to end up with odd stockpiles of VW drivetrains. (616) 765-8801
Isn't that engine similar to the VR6? If so, it will probably be easier to source and swap over some of the parts (cams, etc if they differ)
Somehow I believe its the same engine with a small bump in cc ... But not 100% sure

It isn't just similar, it IS a VR6. Someone on the Vortex is bound to have one.
you do not need a eurovan motor as the 24v vr6 from a jetta/gti will work it will take some swapping of manifolds etc but it will work. this will save you alot of headache. And if your doing this as a timingchain scenario (chain/pulley failure on current engine) then also relplace those same parts on the new to you engine good luck PM me if you have questions
A friend of mine with an unhealthy love for Eurovans bought a 5cyl TDI for his from a German version.

That was one of my first calls.
good try though
Vortex. A search on the MkIV parts classifides turned up a few VR6 cars. This one doesn't seem too far from you, although it seems the seller is a typical Vortexer:
