So today after filling up my 85 Golf I notice gas is running down the sides of the tank coming from the top. I get the car home and drop the tank two of the evap hoses have come loose from their connections and that is the only leak I can find. I want to go ahead and replace all the hoses while I have the tank out. My question is will regular fuel line work for these hoses or is there a special type of hose I need. The reason I ask is because the evap hoses are translucent and I am not sure if it is something different.
