There was an '88 200 Quattro T/A at the Linq in Vegas this past Spring, between the Trans Am Quattro, the 3 different, yes three, RS200s, and an 037, I was dehydrated from drooling.

I saw those cars up close in their Trans Am version when I was crewing part time for a team that raced there in the late 80's and early 90's. Audi saw a "loop hole" in the Trans Am rules and drove a "semi" through them, I do have to say that Roush Racing & Ford did as well with their Merkur XR4Ti's. Audi didn't like the changes to the rules that made their cars only competitive and not dominating so they took their ball and went to IMSA where the rules were more liberal.
