I am guessing the seller knew what they had and didn't accept any low ball offers. 
I am curious. Was this William Lyon's personal car or some other celebrity involved? Was it a group 44 racer? Tell us more.
Sold at auction. 1979 model. Not a celebrity car. And it was burned up once in a fire . Not original color. And a lot of originality is gone. Relatively low miles and has been hot rodded with 2 turbo's and non-original ECM
Oh, 1200 horsepower.
