When it comes to old-school, eight-spoke wheels, what’s your preference? Something traditional from England like true Minilites, or do you rock something from Panasport or Watanabe?
Or, what about the related options like the Konig Rewind, Rota RB, Enkei Compe, Rotiform MLW and American Racing Silverstone? VTO Classic 8? Remember when Shelby offered an option?
So, which one is your go-to pick? …

Not quite in the style of Minilites, but I'm a fan of SSR's Speed Star line:
Halibrand. It has a history few wheels manufactures can match.
In reply to Appleseed :
Not all Halibrand wheels had Halibrand credit. Troutman and Barns had Halibrand cast up some magnesium Wheels for their Riverside specials. They were sold to Jim Hall and called Chaparrals.
Pin drive knock offs. Like Indy cars of the era.
As a JDM fan boy Watanabes all the way.

I've always liked the BBS Bugatti wheels that ape those (but only seven spokes .
of course the guy I sold this to promptly removed them for RSs.

Torqueflight Wheels from American Racing. Arguably the most popular wheel of all times and used on everything.

You're short about three spokes.
I like the minilite style with the rounded spokes ,
but you do not see many in the 5 x 130mm Porsche pattern , but I keep looking !

A man of good taste.
For 8 spoke, I like vintage Watanabe. The more crusty casting marks the better.

If you don't mind the Panasport spoke shape VTO does a lot in 5X130

I've thought if I put a different set of wheels on the Dart it would be either Minilite or Halibrand style ones... but these 8 spoke ancestor to both looks pretty good.
I have a set of Minilite Sport wheels date coded 1974 on one and Superlite's on another car.
I like the Miata Daisy wheel with the center cap knock off I designed and 3D printed that uses the stock cap.
In reply to Spitsix :
That's clever and looks good.
In reply to DeadSkunk (Warren) : Thanks
Cooper Rose Petals have grown on me, though I still prefer the steelies.

Thanks for the TVR porn this morning, I thought today wasn't going to contain much beauty, but I'm happy to be proven wrong.
