man, I've wanted to do this for so long.... Another missed opportunity due to lack of funds

Ha thats awesome! According to him, boost was only raised 2.7 psi. Cool read though.
The gains they demonstrated with just intake, exhaust w/stock cat, stock-mount I/C, fuel pump, ignition and ecu+tune were pretty impressive. They left a lot more on the table back in those days. The stock turbos will not last long running 14 psi though.
