Gimp, Does that Locost have Corvette running gear or just the rims? Transaxle?

It's too heavy and the motor is too small. And too many wheels. Try this instead:

But but but. More details please. If you put the same driver, same 148hp engine and the same tires on your Locost and the FM Westie which would be faster?

What is holding up the Westie, or allowing you to be so fast? Is it;
a) Your Nigel Mansel's long lost twin?
b) Your Carroll Smiths long lost son and a master at setting up a car?
c) The Westie is a steaming pile of pooooo and doesn't handle worth doodoo?
d) Your track is 1/4 mile long with 1,000 turns so even a roller blader would only be another 0.3's back?

The above are all tong in cheek, but two 7esq cars on the same track on the same day, one with twice the power of the other and 'only' 0.3 sec's between them doesn't stack up to my tiny mind. Reading every Westfield build site I can, many people find the standard car lacking in handling and end up with different springs and adding ARB's, but I thought from memory the FM car already had bars and the 'race' springs and shocks?

Yeah, OK, but it's not all about lap times either...

Yes, but the Locost doesn't fall over when you push on it. Gotta love the Boss though!

Not sure how long their local track is, but is does serve as the local go kart track...

videos used to exist on their home page, but I cannot seem to find any at this time.
