What is it called and how can I buy it? Some kind of seafoam green? Is there modern car with a close-enough paint?

Not-metallic is gonna be tough in anything modern.

There's a MINI color called Ice Blue that might be on the right track.  It doesn't photo well, but looks good in person.

There's another called Oxygen Blue but it is darker and more saturated.

[edit]  I would also look into NuBeetle colors - VW offered a lot of great options over the lifespan of that car.

To me, the coupe looks to be more a "machine green" like this lathe.

Are you interested in an "industrial looking" paint job or are you more interested a shiny green like the Ford Truck?

I'm not sure what the color of the lathe is called.

Another drill press example:

I googled up "industrial green machine paint" and got back this Granger listing for spray paint version.

Hard to translate from a picture.  NAPA near me mixes paint, even puts your color in a rattle can.  They have a battery powered thing that identifies what it takes to produce, then they make it.

Will it work on a picture?  Dunno.  You could cruise old paint charts and try matching it up, picture to picture.

I want shiny AF. But can't decide between non-metallic, or full stupid metal-flake guitar kustom.

Looks close to Detroit Diesel Alpine Green. Maybe a little bit lighter.

The same color on my mailbox.

Judging by the front plate it was built by the Jackhammer Speed Shop in the UK.  Drop them a line and see if they're willing to tell you the color (it could have been a custom mix.)  https://www.jackhammerspeedshop.com

I agree with the posts above that if I had to pick a color, I would go with an industrial green.  For a proper backstory, it was painted by a guy on second shift maintenance in the loading dock one night since they had extra paint left over from a job.

It often takes a special gun to shoot, too, depending on the flake size.

I personally would go nonmetallic.  I love that look.

If you do decide to go metallic, maybe  Persian Aqua Metallic, a TR7 color. Used it many years ago on my 2002, still love it.
