I've been looking at trucks lately and since there are 1-million different ways to option them being able to punch in a VIN number and get the build sheet for the truck has been nice.  Ford does this well, Dodge too.  I can't for the life of me find a way to do this for Chevy/GMC.  Yes, there are RPO codes, but I don't own the truck I just want to know if it has certain things 3.42 gears vs 3.08 gears for example.  I'm not driving to the dealer just to find out its built as a highway cruiser.  Any suggestions?

I used this VIN Decoder  to find out about my Suburban, try and see if it works for you.

Doesn't look like the one 81cpcamaro provided gives anything but the basics.  I entered my 2014 Sierra VIN into it and it told me the basics (single cab, V8), and the options available, but not the specific options I have on mine.  Doing some searching, one of the forums mentioned that GM allowed the look up at one point, but closed them due to "copyright" restrictions.
