i know zombie thread, but i have them on my belair. i had to make some freaky bends at the lower hose putting a v8 in a car that didn't come with one, and a radiator about 10" wider than the original. they've got to be 8 years old now or more, and no issues ever.
they don't scream hacky if you use the caps for the ends and point them so you don't see the clamps.
i think mine are old mr gasket brand. i have probably 10 new sets in the garage for random hose emergencies, like when my sonoma's upper hose rubbed through on the fan shroud.
