I want to get my 94 Miata flywheel resurfaced, but have two questions:
1) Per Spec Miata rules, the flywheel with pilot bearing can weigh no less than 17.1 lbs. mine is currently in 19.39. Is there really 2lbs worth of material to shave off a stock flywheel?
2) Any recommendations of a shop in GA/FLA that can do this? Since it's for the racecar I am willing to drive or ship the flywheel to a reputable performance shop. I'm iffy about shops local to me.
