Dad has a 91 tin top 4wd tracker. Stone stock. Uses it for his runabout behind tbe rv, and for going all over the American southwest to old mining towns/indian sits/etc.

Has 235/75/15 tires on stock wheels.

The tires rub a little. In looking at it, i found the whole drivers side has sagged 3/4 of an inch, and rhe front is down 2 inches relative to the rear.

So we want to bring the front up 1 inch passengers, and 1 3/4 drivers.

Id ideally get 1 inch lift springs, or something like that.

At this point, i dont know what i dont know. Reliability, safety, and easy button are the priorities here.

Do i get all new coils? Lift kit? Those spacer things i see on ebay?

We are planning to do shocks as well, because his are sacked. Street/fire road/ mild off road.

if you are doing shocks. and it sounds like you need new springs. I might just get shocks and a decent set of Junkyard 4 door tracker springs. and maybe the spacers.

or for full lift springs plus shocks you have these options.

there is this 2.5" from Trail Tough TT Lift

or you can go the 2" Old Man Emu OME Lift

Here is the space lift from Low range spacer lift

In all honesty, stock height has never been the limiting factor in his travels.

Is there any stock springs left? That alone should get him a few inches.....

Ive been trying to find stuff all day with no luck.

If the newer Trackers use the same springs, I've probably still got a pair of stock front springs off a 01 4-door Tracker that I parted out. Text me tomorrow afternoon and I'll try to hunt them down.

Otherwise I can text a buddy of mine and see if he has any, he's got 10 of the older Tracker/Sidekicks.

Old Man Emu all day, every day. I've used their kits on three 4x4s now and have never been disappointed. They're all about matching damping with spring rates and it shows with the rise quality offered by their kits.

Your dad is living the dream!

The 2" OME kit is a good idea.

Edit: NVM other stuff, I see it's a Tracker/Sidekick and not a Samurai.

So do we know for sure if the later 4 door springs will fit the 91 Geo Tracker 2 door? If so I'll go grab the ones that Untouchable has and put them in Dad's truck for a suppose it an inch and a half left
