It looks like George might be on the right plan, here. There is a benefit to being gentle on tires. 17 seconds back from second, can he end up on podium?

I don't think so. He was given a garbage truck and told to drive it like an F1 car. Then Steiner pushed and pressured so Mick ended up overdriving the POS and that caused the crashes. Given a half decent car I think he could be good.
I'll be shocked if RB doesn't buy out Sergios contract and park Liam or Riccardo in the car next yr.

Oh yeah.
You can always see when desperation starts to set in. Checo in the last couple of races, the American kid most of the season, they race themselves out of a ride.
I wonder whether a three stopper for one of the front runners would have worked? Passing wasn't too bad, especially with a few laps of tire age offset. George proved the one stop wasn't great, although it wasn't bad.
I think a few might have tried but the early safety car ran for enough laps that they pivoted to 2 stop.

I don't buy that one, singapore is far from the only bumpy track they've run at this yr.
I was just relaying what a commentator said during his recap of the weekend. He mentioned what the redbull team told him. You can watch the video as well. On official f1 site.

I thought either Russell or Hamilton going to a 3 stop would have been the better reaction for MB after they started running too close on track.
Wish Tsunoda had a better race.
Good job to the McLaren team.
The start was crazy, so many cars banged up before turn 1....

Putting Liam in the car next year seems like a risky proposition but RB has clinched the constructor's title without a ton of help from Checo. Liam hasn't been knocking off front wings racing in the back half of the field, so why not give him a shot? If it doesn't work, swap him with Danny Ric.
Williams say Sargeant is still their man in 2024..

That's crazy to me. If you aren't competitive, having a good driver to bring in data is at least something. He just doesn't seem like he has brought much to the table at all.

The mechanics are getting lots of extra practice though. Destructive testing can be good too lol

After topping the Destructors championship so far this year, we will see about that money proposition after a few more races. Zero points to show for it. I get it if you're trying to be a hero for the win (Russell in 3rd in Singapore). That's going down swinging. Sargeant just looks terrible all the time.
Think something is off on the data. Oscar Piastri is on the numerical list at 6th place for damage, but he's the baseline on the chart....
