F1 is reporting that Bearman is getting a Haas seat in 2025.
Just watched two speculations about Alonso and Sainz hoping to get Max's seat next season...
I kind of understand the hope that they will stay on top, but at the same time- if Max leaves, doesn't that suggest that all of the proposed turmoil we hear about is real. And that the closing of teams on RBR could be related to that.
So I really wonder about the desire to move to that team IF Max leaves with a contract in hand

Been a while since three Brits were 1-2-3 in qualifying. Will make an incredible atmosphere at the race tomorrow.
Oh, I say, old chap. Makes you want to salute the King.
I'm very curious how the first 5 laps go tomorrow. I'm betting Max comes through, leaving the three Brits to fight for second. It is not as inevitable as it once was, but the rude little pecker is still fast. And aggressive. And really likes winning.

Agreed as Max has been nailing the starts consistantly, but I don't see George or Lando just letting him go without a fight so might just be a good scrap.
I'm hoping for an LH win or norris. Basically, anybody but verstappen. I hope verstappen makes it exciting with an actual race.
berkeley yeah! That crowd was so loud for those last laps.
I think he used up all the soft to get there.
That is just great. I freely admit to being a Lewis fanboy, but there is something about an old guy doing a big thing that makes an old guy like me very happy, even if I'm not a fan.
And to do it at Silverstone.
What a great race! The rain just made some super interesting calls. And the last tire change- McLaren still needs to learn how to win.
But Lewis. Wow. Managed the tires brilliantly at the end.
edit- gutted for George. He should be there at the finish.
The Mercs sure like cold weather. Once it started to dry and warm at the end, here comes Max and RB.
Mclarens post race strategy meeting is going to be brutal. It could easily have been a McLaren 1-2, or 1-3 today. Double stack Piastri, he comes out near George. Pit Lando with Lewis, he wins by ten seconds.
Lewis and Bono made some good decisions today.
A personal bright spot for me. One of my best friends is a British expat that has been here for ~25 years. Huge F1 fan, his kid is a huge F1 fan (and a bigger Lewis fan boy than me). They are there, it's both of there first live F1 races. I am beyond happy for them that they are experiencing that first hand.
That was a fantastic race. The variation in pace in that first wet session was amazing. Piastri twitching all over while passing George. No crashes to spoil the fun. Max making the perfect tire choice to bring himself back into contention.
Lewis did a hell of a job managing those softs - Lando burned his up almost immediately, Lewis kept them alive. That was the win. Love to see the genuine emotion.
