Wow. Strong bidding, given the amount of damage. I checked norotors.com, given the sticker on the rear hatch, but didn't see any recent "I wrecked my car" threads.
I'm not surprised on the price There are a ton of parts on that thing to sell or use in your own LSx conversion.

Because it is perhaps the best sporting chassis built in the last 30 years? I'm saddened to see a smashed FD, but I take solace in hoping that LSx will never run again.
In reply to yamaha:
Sorry im sure the ls is still running, unlike that poor mellon of a motor that it came with which may still be sitting by the dumpster if ya want it!
In reply to chiodos:
I would be very surprised to see an aluminum LS survive a hit like that unscathed.
The drivers door is not closed. .. Wonder just how bad the unibody got bent. At half that $$$$ I would still be on the fence. I really don't understand the $$$$ that is getting unless the motor in there is something really special.
Some of those untouched interior and rear cosmetic pieces are basically unobtanium at this point and are worth big $. For example, someone on another forum I was on was trying to do an automatic to manual conversion on an FD. He nor I could literally not find an FD manual transmission pedal assembly for sale anywhere in the world.
