Soon i'm going to have a car that has almost no aftermarket here but shared parts with S13 and Z32s, car is Nissan Skyline GTS-T. Some parts like a front mount intercooler setup is not available on this continent so the shipping is ridiculous. I'm just wondering how much it costs to get a good setup fabricated?

I have zero fabrication skills myself so I would have to pay someone to do it. I know exhaust fabrication is fairly inexpensive (compared to aftermarket) i'm just wondering if the same case is for intercoolers

The difference is that intercooler fab requires good tig welding experience since welding aluminum, especially thin aluminum is almost an art form. Welding steel or stainless steel isn't nearly as bad and almost anyone can do that with some practice.

Are you talking about the piping? Or the intercooler itself?

Lucky for you, Ive done it all before with these cars.

I had a 93 GTS-T type M.

You should get a top to bottom flow ic with theinlet and outlet on the same side. Plenty of room for AC. Get creative and have fun.

Ebay for the IC core and get a local fab ship to make it for you. Its not about whats available on this continent or not for this kind of stuff. It's all straightforward. They hard stuff to get is sunroof seals, etc etc.

Maybe $500 total with the cost of the IC included.

Awesome, thanks for this info. Especially the pics.

There is a place here that is supposed to be great for fabrication.

Anyways I found a site that sells Blitz intercoolers specific for this car from Japan that I can get to me shipped for like $550 and they are supposed to be good so I may not have to go this route.

If it is the side to side style with crazy piping to make it work I would pass. I have very fast spool up and not alot of piping with this setup.
