If you are planning on going down 75, there 'is' fuel down to I-285, but those are the stations EVERYONE in ATL is filling at so lines are 45 min + (as of yesterday), there were only 2 stations in all of GA-400 area, and there is some coming down I-85 (but most likely you'll be coming down I-95 in that case).
Here are some websites to check to see if they have gas, even if they look like they do CALL AHEAD:

All I can say is, get gas in Northern GA, and get it again in Northern FL if you can make it...
I just talked to my brother, who lives in Atlanta. He said that he has heard that the QT stations tend to have the best odds for gas. Your mileage may vary, etc.

We are leaving tonight and will run 95 the whole way to J-ville. We will get a message to someone if there are any issues.
My wife talked to her aunt and uncle last night, they live in Ellijay about 75 miles north of Atlanta. Perhaps because they are so far off the beaten path, but here's what they report.
Gas is $3.89 and last Saturday you were limited to $20 purchase. As of yesterday you were limited to $5 each purchase. Again, check with folks along the way.

What time you starting out?
I'm planning on leaving late this afternoon, have to pick up a package for MrJoshua on the way.
I'll keep my eye out for any problems if I'm in front of you.
My Brother in Buford Ga reported ( last Sunday ) Gas at 4.79 a unit. and limited to $15 a purchase! He and his wife are riding their cycles, and still can't fill 'em up.
Here in Columbus OH IO it's dropping 3.35 a gal yeasterday. And plentyfor all Go figgure!
If I were going South, I'd pack a few cans.

And be packing. Don't want to see another Mad Max remake.
Speaking of the fuel problems, I wondered how one pipeline could transport different brands and grades of fuel. So I looked it up: http://www.colpipe.com/ab_faq.asp
I stopped last night 20 miles north of Charlotte on 77. 1 of the three gas stations had fuel. $4.13/gal, $25 limit (i filled twice), no premium or diesel.
Now i'm in Lawrenceville, 1 of the 4 gas stations i passed today had fuel (RaceTrac). Long line.
Good luck!
