Somebody asked for this, so I figured I should share. Here's Elvis, our LS1 Miata, compared to a stock Miata.
We haven't put the car on the dyno since it got the new cam, valve springs, heads and throttle body. Heh heh heh.

I'd like to a see a comparison between this and a turbo kit.
Other thoughts:
Holy crap, that's a lot of torque.
If you could make that torque stay up there above 5000....
We have a dyno app for the sites that can take a dyno file, read it in, and build a nice chart from the results. One of these days I'd like to figure out a way to make it simple and standardized enough so that people could post their own dyno runs, attach 'em to reader rides, compare 'em, that sort of thing. One of these days.

Tires that aren't nearly big enough.
Keith, was this the car that came to the GRM Challenge this year?
No, it's not a Challenge car. We've never been there actually. We're expecting north of 400 hp and a power curve that keeps climbing to redline with the new setup, that should be fun. Comparing the current dyno chart to a turbo is a little rough on the turbo kit, but it depends on just which kit you use.
The car weighs 2500 lbs right now.
Some autocross video - turn up the volume! (edit - embedded video works in the preview pane!) http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-3491985433390412364&hl=en
In the video, the tires are 225/45-15 NT-01s on 15x8 wheels. Today, the 235/45-17 R888s should arrive for the 17x7.5" wheels, and when the 17x8.5s get here he'll get some 255/40-17s for the rear. Rubber!
That's so beyond excessive! I love it!
It's really weird to hear that big V8 grumble coming out of such a small car!
