This looks cool. The new global Rallycross schedule has been announced and they are coming to Detroit. I wonder where, State fair grounds?

DC?!? where in DC would they be running?
I don't know of any motorsports events in the area during that timeframe. After the DC Grand Prix I don't think that RFK would be an option, and it's during DC United's season. Unless they're counting Summit Point or Dominion as DC I'm stumped (no pun intended).
I can't picture where they will run in NY but there are plenty of streets that would be perfect for it.

Roosevelt Park like the dorifto event last fall?
I couldn't see them doing a 2nd motorsports event on Belle Isle.
Not quite Detroit but since most sanctioning bodies list Mosport, being located in Toronto.. I could see it at Waterford.. It is damn near a rally cross course already.. Add a few dirt jumps and it is ready to go.. Just hope the local residents don't burn down the control tower.
do it in, on, and around the old Packard factory...
The old Packard factory would be really cool.
I am also curious about the DC venue. With Summit giving WDCR RallyX the boot I'm guessing it's not going to be there. This could be an interesting venue for either perhaps...
In reply to Armitage:
Their events do take place mainly on the pavement, so they'd use the main of newly enlarged Jefferson as their course of choice, being 2 weeks after hyperfest would allow for heavy promotion at hyperfest on the spectator side of things. GRC and WDCR are 2 completely different animals, and Summit hasn't chased off the LAtin American group, just the orchard runners. You bring up an interesting potential location though as Royce and Travis are close...
I had no idea GRC ran mostly on pavement. Is the Jefferson expansion complete already? We should have a GRM gathering at the event.

There was a Drift event in Detroit? I honestly had no idea!
Awesome! I will definitely be trying to hit the Daytona event.
Id love to go to the New York leg of the tour. Need to ponder how to convince Mrs. Dx.

I used warm relaxing Florida sunshine to sell the wife on my Rolex trip. Surely there is something in NY your bride may find interesting.
Oh man, GRM mini meet for DET folks?

I read that the Detroit round will be at "Not Belle Isle."
Wonder if it will be MIS, although that probably falls close to their second NASCAR weekend.
Pity it overlaps Indycar/World Challenge at Mid-Ohio, otherwise.
Well hey, now I know what I want to put on my to-do list this summer.
expect the new sonic GRC car to debut at detroit.

Debuted at Charlotte last season. Ran the last two events.
the drivetrain is being completely redeveloped, everything but the skin is supposed to be new for the 14 program
I want to go but the Austin round is during X games and in the summer. I'm too old for that nonsense.

I'm on mobile so I don't have a link handy, but they did right there in front of MCS in Roosevelt park. I know there are some YouTube videos floating around and a thread or 2 on Xceedspeed.
I was almost thinking Flat Rock Speedway, but not sure if there is enough room. I didn't make it to the LeMons race there to see how their "road course" was laid out.
There are numerous test tracks in the area obviously. Could also set something up in Pontiac (Silverdome? Centerpoint campus?) or even at the Willow Run plant. Longshot I'd say would be City Airport or something along the Riverfront if GM gets involved.
Is Chrysler confirmed out for 2014 still?
On a side note, a Detroit meet or three is in order once it gets warmer.
