I need to start shopping for a Transmission Mount for my 2012 Mazda 3, as mine is junk. I've read that Mazda has redesigned this part a bunch of times, and that the aftermarket replacement ones are all garbage. I've also read that there's about 6 different part numbers for this mount, which is also confusing.

So, Mazda people, where do you get your Mazda stuff online?

I don't, I buy locally. I've bought enough stuff they give me the 20% wholesale discount and they usually have it the next day so I don't pay shipping. And it's about an 8 minute drive from work.

Yes, I pay sales tax, but at least that helps support local infrastructure.

But Jim Ellis Mazda has a great online parts lookup tool.

I find the part on www.jimellismazdaparts.com, then order from

http://parts.arlingtonmazda.com/

or

http://www.atlantamazdaparts.com/

Atlanta Mazda Part is actually Jim Ellis, but seems to be consistently 20% cheaper than the Jim Ellis site for some reason.

Their website sux but I usually call Mazmart (1-800-221-5156). They are based in Atlanta which is local for me, but they ship around the world. They know their stuff, have good prices, and can find some obscure parts for pretty much anything Mazda has ever made.
