Is there such a thing? Looking at seats to put in the CRX that are at the minimum 25lb weight, but easy on the wallet and on the back when driving it on the street. Any suggestions?

Yep, DA Integra seats would be a nice idea. Not sure on the weight, but i never thought they were particularly heavy.

I should say that weight and support for autocrossing are the two main reasons I am looking. The stock seats in the CRX are in good shape.

Ah ok, so not looking for other OEM things.
Try to find someone building a Spec Boxster. The seats are at least 25 pounds, but probably less that 35. They're made by Recaro. They have rails that are spaced on 16 inches that can easily be made flat. They look too small, but after three minutes, you'll think they're perfect. Early ones won't have airbags in them and if they're electric, it's usually just a two wire hookup to make everything work. Only downside is if you need an adjustable headrest for a harness. Then, you're out of luck.
I put 911 GT3 seats, which are similar, but have bigger bolsters, in my 911 (just so you will want it even more), but you won't find another set of those.

Any other ideas? Surely some of you have used dual purpose street/racing seats before, no?
Are you looking for a one piece racing seat that's comfortable enough to tolerate on the street or do you need a two piece seat tat reclines?
Seems your goal is to stay near the minimum 25lb requirement.
A Kirky Aluminum seat is about 15lbs.
Do the rules allow for you to add weight directly to the seat to bring it to 25.1lbs?
Ten pounds of lead added low?

The former. It's a CRX, so no back seat, and it's my kids car, so it doesn't have to be really comfy. I just put 500lb/in coil overs in the car with sticky tires that dart all over the place and the kids love it.

Yes, one of my primary goals is to shed weight, and I'd like to be near the 25lb min. I'm not sure about adding weight, I'll have to check. But I'm thinking that would be illegal.
Not sure what rule set you are trying to match. SCCA Solo Street Touring has a 25 lb minimum for the seat, including the mounting hardware:
"The seat, including mounting hardware, must weigh at least 25 pounds and must be attached using the OE body mounting holes/studs."
16 pound seat + 9 pound bracket/slider/whatever = legal, plus it puts the weight lower in the car.

Yes, that's the rule I have to meet.
The info I found on the Monaco S listed it at 21.1 lbs. It doesn't seem like fabricating 4 lb brackets would be too difficult.
Sparco Evos are great fixed back seats that are comfy on the street. What is your budget?
Support is what you are after. I highly doubt stock CRX seats are more than 25lbs.
Stock Honda Si seats are great but they're pretty heavy.
There are a lot of used Sparco Evos out there.
