I need to recover an aftermarket center console in a Jeep Wrangler. I'd like some nice quality vinyl (grained perhaps?) to use for the project. I've never shopped for interior fabrics though. Any go-to recommendations?

Fabric stores have vinyl, however, color choices may be limited.

eBay and Amazon. Vinyl frog worked great for me. I'll take pics when I get home'

I've experimented with the vinyl from Cricut available at fabric stores, my jawa costume tote bin has some fun copper with grain to it.  But all of the fun vinyl like that has had the problem of the adhesive not being very sticky.

Oracal 651 seems to be the go-to for vinyl these days.

I'm pretty sure that we're talking about vinyl fabric, not stickers.

Our local Hobby Lobby has a very decent selection of different vinyls as does JoAnne's.  Hobby Lobby does have outdoor stuff, but I'm not sure how that would hold up over time.  You might try looking around marine sources since I know that there is some stuff that is specific to recovering seats on boats.

I used marine grade vinyl from JoAnne's to cover my fabricated package shelf for a 69 Impala. Easy to work with and should hold up to sun.

Thanks for the suggestions. I ended up ordering some marine vinyl, given that it's going in a Jeep. Will report back!
