There was just an AMX rally car running the rally stage, very cool.

The announcers were hinting it may be doing timed runs Saturday and Sunday, I believe they've banned late model F1 cars from doing that so I'm a little surprised.

70 years of Porsche , 70 zillion pounds sponsorship , they can do what they want !

later in September Laguna Seca and under 1 minute lap times.......

And coming up later are the timed runs and trying to get under the 40 seconds mark.

The electric cars completely embarrassed the old school gas powered dinosaurs. 

Watching the hill climb with Miller vs the electric VW was interesting.  This stream has been up all weekend at the house.

I binged on the coverage as well. It's always a fantastic event and I really love how they mix modern and vintage. The Honda 5 cylinder 125 is my absolute favorite exhaust note ever, I was very happy to see it run up the hill.

By turning the third fastest time?

I loved the coverage but I am not sure if it  made me want to go next years , or stay home and watch it on TV  :)

I just do not know where I would want to park myself,  rally track , on the hill in the forest or ?????

And this year was nice warm ( HOT ) weather , it would be no fun in the rain !

To anyone that have been there , how did you like it ????

I have not been but I think I am going to open a separate savings account and start stashing money away and try and go for my 50th birthday in 3 years.

Save quicker and go to LeMans classic and then Goodwood :) in 2020

The rub is the 4 other family members that will have to come along.

looks like Goodwood is 60 miles south of Heathrow airport , 

near Southhampton is Beaulieu where the National Motor Museum is and also  couple of big swap meets......

And its not too far to take the tunnel to France  ?

the UK has always   been a fun place to visit.......
