thats it. I don't have any good stories other than I was passed by a black CTS-V today while out driving the turbo brick around....but oh baby, that thing sounded mean.

if anyone here got passed by a black impala ss on 71 in cleveland this morning, that was me. and i'm sure it sounded sweet from your car too.
Around here, I've found that if you don't completely blow their doors off passing someone, it usually just ticks them off & they ride your ass and/or re-pass you. This is on 2-lane rural highways, FYI.
It takes a bit of strategy to accomplish that in the Accent.

So, did your doors stay on your car?
Inquiring minds want to know if the TV commercial is true.
Well, I may have given the wrong impression, this wasn’t a high speed situation at all. The road was two lanes one direction, two lanes the other. We were doing all of about 30 mph. My Volvo sounds like a vacuum cleaner. At that speed or any other. Lately I have been entertaining thoughts of an LS swap. When the wife is asleep and I'm feeling a little naughty, I like to get on Autotrader.com or EBay and search for CTS-V's. I can't actually afford them but a man can dream. Due to some fantastic googling skills that I mastered long ago, I learned that there is a company that sells engine mounts for people who would like their Volvos to sound less like the aforementioned vacuum cleaner and more like, well, a CTS-V. So as this has been rattling around in my brain for the past couple years, as I mentioned in my original post, a first generation caddy pulled along side me and then went on his merry way long enough to get my juices all flowing again.

There's a CTSV commercial?
