I only have a couple of quick pics (-20 windchill this afternoon in OKC) and screenshots I took from a video they are working on.

Thanks! For some reason, this site never lets me upload more than one pic at a time so I have to keep editing it. I'll choose four and it will only do one.

2023 BRZ Limited. Just had our local Subie Specialists install the following:

8th gen FA 500s 7k/8k springs with custom valving.
Whiteline rear lower control arms, sway links, and rear toe links (and custom alignment specs)
Remark Elite Catback exhaust it's got this cool little flamed Ti outer cover the exhaust
18x9.5 Advan RSIII's w/ 245/35 Continental ExtremeContact Sport

Next week the Toyota GR86 ducktail goes on.

Decent progress for 3.5 months and 700 miles of ownership. It also has PPF on the front bumper and headlights, ceramic coated the entire car and ceramic tint.

You can do four, but you have to go through the Image/Upload dialog box 4 times. After each pass the pics should be in the compose window in a vertical line. Then post once and all 4 will show up.

Car is lookin' good.

On a phone pics are a nightmare.  On a PC you can just cut and paste over and over again, its a piece of cake.

Thanks gents! Looking forward to it warming it up so I can actually see how everything feels. A buddy of mine just bought a fairly tuned up ND1 and we are going to grab a couple of other friends and head to NW AR for a few days and drive all the roads over there once the weather fixes itself in a few month.

Weird side note. It was so cold when I picked the car up yesterday, I was getting this weird chattering as I was making turns the first few miles. I finally realized that the diff fluid was so cold it was making the torsen almost act like a spool. Only took about two miles for it to get enough heat to shut up and start acting like normal.

The normal high in OKC yesterday would have been 45, I think it was 7.

These weren't hosted anywhere, I was uploading to GRM from my laptop. I don't typically browse forums on my phone because I hate the layout/functionality.

If the factory diff & trans fluid is anything like what came in the 2.0L Toyobarus, you should change it right away to Motul Gear300 or the Redline equivalent.

Also you'll still need an oil-to-air cooler before doing any track days, at the post-Challenge track day pimpm3's BRZ with the stock oil-to-water cooler was still getting frighteningly hot oil temps.

Oh I know. I bought a '15 BRZ new years ago as well that I had for 40k miles, similar mods tuned on E85 within 500 miles of new, etc. Not sure why you think I don't know these things, I'm more familiar with these cars than most people on this forum.

I'm waiting to hit to the 1k mile mark and I'm changing all the fluids, likely Millers vs Motul, depends on what I can get locally. Well, except coolant/brake fluid. And yes I know if I'm going to track it I need to upgrade the fluid and pads. wink

I know you know plenty about the 2.0L models at least, just raised something I've learned about the 2.4s. It's kind of surprising to me that they only slightly mitigated the oil temperature issue rather than completely fixing it.

In reply to GameboyRMH :

The water-to-oil thing is really more about getting to the oil up to temp more quickly vs being a solution to track work.

If I decide to occasionally track this, but it will mainly be a street car car, I'd go with the JR dual cooler vs a dedicated air-to-air cooler.

You get the best of both worlds. Of course, I will admit, I'm also waiting to see if Harrop and Edelbrock will release a S/C kit for the 2nd gen.

Ecutek finally cracked the ECUs so they have beta versions out to the big tuners at the moment for testing.

I feel like I heard somewhere that you can get solutions from the OEM as the kit for the GR Cup cars is TRD part numbers?

It seems nobody's found a complete parts list, but they're not all TRD parts. This appears to be the most complete list available so far:

For what? The GR Cup cars are very different, SADEV sequential boxes, etc.

Much obliged mon frere!

I'm really happy how it ended up, definitely worth the wait.

However, I'll be honest, I'd like it a touch lower. I'm going to work with the guys at Altanta Speed Company (big shout out to Kevin there) and FA, and see if we can figure out a solution to get it lower and still ride nice.

The car currently is about twice as stiff as stock, and you wouldn't know it if I didn't tell you. That's how great the valving is from the folks at Fortune Auto.
