Just wondering if anyone has built a budget/grassroots air suspension? Seems like these kits are way overpriced compared to piecing together your own kit, maybe using parts from a lincoln or other ford with these parts stock?

Yes, as Dave mentioned, Jon Haas did on his '49/'94 Chevy coupe/caprice, it is featured in the Oct, 2008 issue of GRM on newsstands now.

He told me he got the airbags kit on ebay for pretty damn cheap. I think under $200...
