The Competition Schedule for 2023. They're going coast to coast at some serious tracks next year
Is there information on camping at a Gridlife event? Specifically I am looking at Watkins Glen? That is only a couple hours away and it might be cool to camp there.
In reply to NY Nick :
Normal track weekend camping (what's being referred to as club) is usually cheap (its been $30 for a few years) and then whatever the weekend spectator is, or your drivers ticket price.
Being as they're going for a festival weekend there it'll probably be a bit more. I would assume based upon either the track's pricing (Road America charges more for camping as an example) and how much additional "festival" things are going on. Midwest festival at gingerman is spectator ticket+camping+vehicle pass (same price as camping and up to 4 people). Which I assume was largely to encourage carpooling. There is usually some group buy stuff too (4 passes/4 camping/1 vehicle) at a discount.
You'll be able to see all the actual info when tickets go on sale. Which I believe should be around the end of January
I asked and got an answer about Watkins and it's going to be a motorsports festival, similar to what happend at Lime Rock last summer.
CMP sounds like it's gonna be a music festival? but no solid confirmations of anything yet. "gingerman of the south" got said on a podcast.
I'm absolutely floored that they got Laguna Seca on the schedule. Really excited about that one.
and after last year the season starts like 3 whole weeks later for me than it did this year!
