Yeah, I am sure JG meant to type a 6. It was two one hour races. Shouldn't take 5 hours to televise...
The broadcasts will also be available online. Check back this weekend for the live webcast of Long Beach.

I've completely fallen in love with this series. The drivers are fantastic ambassadors for the sport and genuinely approachable. We're making plans for the Laguna Seca (err...Mazda Raceway.) event for the GRM community-look for news soon.
I'll be at the Long Beach race collecting video and helping with the autograph session this weekend. Hope to see you there!
The post production broadcast was much better. The announcing was great, the racing was great, the cars are great. Fun to watch.
In reply to JG Pasterjak: Hey guys. I saw the web feed and it was clear the announcers were not seeing the same thing we were. But I thought the long yellow was a great opportunity for you & GRM. The Versus broadcast was pretty well edited, although it's kinda weird knowing the announcers have already seen the edited version and are "reacting" to the events on track. But the 2nd race was really great. And our local WDCR SCCA and former ITB Champion, Tristan Herbert, won the TC class and got good face time. Cool!
MUCH MUCH better this time around. Sucks that Pat Long had bad luck at the start, but TORE through the field to finish 5th. I can't wait to watch some of those passes on TV.
Damn that kid can race!
To Duke: Me too...
The VW was disqualified after the race (couldn't find out why), giving the win to Shea Holbrook.
Overall, WC is proving to be the most exciting racing series in the country right now. The GT battle at the front was awesome.

Yea, we are waiting to hear what caused them to fail post race tech. The Istook Revo Team was the team i was suppose to crew for if i didnt have this dumb cold...
I have heard rumors, but nothing official. When I have an official story, I will be glad to share it.
In any case, big congratulations to Shea Holbrook and Paul Brown for their wins.

Well, from what Istook told me, his air box was cut and WC didnt like that, he said it was "Mickey Mouse infractions"...
Big congrats to both Shea and Paul Brown... Paul Brown's team was the team i used to work for out West, Tiger Racing.
Does anyone know anything about the online broadcast from Miller? I tried to watch it live, and looked for it this morning, but I don't see it anywhere on World-challengetv.com. Were they not planning to offer this one online? I don't want to wait until June to watch on VS (insanely long tape delay)....
I've got all of this season's SPEED World Challenge races saved on my DVR, but haven't watched them yet because in previous years the fields were so small and the TV coverage was so weak. I shouldn't have waited! I just finished watching the St. Pete races, and they were fantastic. Over 50 cars on track over three classes, with a great variety of makes and models. Hats off to the organizers for completely turning that series around!
I'll be attending the World Challenge race weekend at Mosport. Any advice for a stranger in a strange land?

I believe the disqualification was over modifications to the air box.
I just heard that they're going to be broadcast back-to-back on Versus. I just don't have a date...
Also, I just looked at the points for the 2011 series so far...
