Tom, I know that the GRM staff has their hands full but they need to start their own GRM cable channel available one number above Speed CH./NASCAR CH. Refuse to be totally owned by any sanctioning body, broadcast SCCA, NASA, etc. races. Have a show on real GRM builders like Loose Cannon, and the guys from the left coast building the Mid engine Honda 600. Broadcast the 20?? chalenge comp. Do a show on some of the university SAE programs. Show some young guys coming up through the ranks of road racing. I could go on, and I 'm sure other forum regulars and GRM readers could too.
I don't hate NASCAR but I almost do some of the programing that SC has on now. A GRM channel done like the magazine would fly.

Are you financing? It's a great idea, but we'll have to staff up before moving on it.

I'm available for hire.
Please let me know if you ever need a "Deathbox" portion for your magazine as well. I'll be waiting.
HD Theater is taking on more car programming this fall and re-branding itself Velocity. I like a lot of their current line-up (WRC, Isle of Man TT, Chasing Classic Cars, etc.) but I'm afraid that more reality show programming will creep in.
Versus is playing catch-up this weekend, so they're set to rebroadcast a bunch of this season's races this weekend.
I wanna see the Miller race!!!!

The sound on the 'Video of the Month' you posted today is really messed up.

Correction- it was screwed up. That's why we pulled it down, reformatted, and reloaded it before it went out with the Newsletter.

On the restart Pat checked up at the last second forcing Randy to brake, when he then got back on the power he was well out of the power band....and the big torque NA cars walked on by. Keeping a turbo spooled at the mandatory WC 45mph re-start pace isn't always a simple thing
Hello, just want to say hi to Tom and my friends at GRM and introduce myself to the GRM community - I'm Aaron Povoledo - I drive the # 88 Volvo C 30 for K-PAX Racing in the TC class. It's my first year in the series and I'm loving it so far. Looking forward to meeting fellow racers and enthusiasts on line here.
^^ Aaron might be too modest to say so himself, but he's top-shelf talent behind the wheel. The official race broadcast will appear on Versus TV this Saturday, August 20th, where you will witness a Aaron administer severe whupping on the rest of the TC field.
Here's a sneak preview from the World Challenge site-
