What's up guys?

The Tidewater Sports Car Club is holding a track event weekend at NCCAR on Oct 27(HPDE) and Oct 28(Gripfest) and wanted to spread the word to you guys!

We need more advanced level drivers for the HPDE Saturday so we now have the crazy low price of $100 for 4-5 20min sessions, plus the 60min happy hour at the end of the day! You will need some verifiable experience that you're good to run in that group. Use the discount code GRMBLUEGROUP for $10 off making it only $90!

Novice and intermediate are $175, and if you need an instructor you will be waitlisted at this time (not charged until guaranteed a spot). We have a couple open spots for intermediate solo at the regular price, again experience will be verified.

We do need instructors as well! We'd like to get some more novice students off the waitlist and hooked on track shenanigans!  Instructors of course get FREE track time Saturday, and also a severe discount on Gripfest the next day at a cost of only $35!

The next day is Gripfest, which is essentially run like an autocross except you run the whole road course!  SCCA recently started calling it Track cross. We've been doing it for many years.  This is a GREAT event if you want to try track driving, but not worry about traffic, passing, flags (other than the red one), etc and without the wear and tear of multiple 20 min sessions. Cost is $175 for a non-member, but if you use the discount code GRMFORUM you will get $20 off!  This is a timed event with awards given out at the end of the day for fastest in each class, plus fastest novice in each class!

Lunch is provided both days as part of your entry!

It's a really great group of people, camping on site for free is allowed Friday and Saturday night, and we run well organized and safe events... And would love to meet some fellow GRMers at the end of the month!  Feel free to ask any questions you may have!

This will be my one and only thread on the subject, I don't want to spam the board or anything.

You'll need to log in to post.
