GRM seat redying

I bought a set of black cloth seats that are in great shape other than some sun fading. Any ideas on a cheap DIY method of redying the faded areas?

That's what I'd grab first, I've used the stuff on plastic to good effect, and it sprays on thin enough that I bet it would soak in okay.
