Can someone fill my in on the Group B Toyota Celicas? How different were they from the regular Celica of the time period?

lots of good stuff here. don't click the link unless you want to eat up some time.
The Whistling Pig? I love those cars.
Used a 4T-GTE, which was a turbo 2.0 or 2.2L DOHC that made something like 450hp in low-boost trim and over 600 in high boost. It's my understanding that to this day, it's still the fastest RWD rally car ever made, if not the fastest 2WD.
I would love to do a replica but the grill and bumpers are completely different and they look like a pain to make.
The Delta S4 was twincharged - that's it in the picture I believe. The Integrale was turbocharged only.
In person the RS200 is awesome, about the size of the 1st gen MR2, but lower! Don't know the specs on the Celica, but if it was a group B car, it's nothing like a stock example. Think of them as the F1 equivalent of a rally car. So fast they were banned.
There's a good Celica Group B restoration at www.MAT.fi. They also have a few Lancia restos and the Cosworth-powered Model A with the misfire switch. Do not venture over there unless you have much free time.

Which Lancia was the turbo and S/C one. R&T did a write up on it in the 80's I think.
Did my own research. Lancia Delta S4 was T/C and S/C 550 hp. It only ran for the last two years of Group B.

oh hell yes. The 037 is awesome. Someday I would love to have one of the street cars. As much as I like the race car, I think the production version almost looks better.
