Innocenti Mini?

I think we have to call that one as close as it gets. It is the later Japanese powered Innocenti Minitre SE. Daihatsu Charade derived oily bits so three cylinder engine with a 5spd manual. Mine has the De Tomaso wheels which is unfortunate as they are TRX ones. Mine is a 1984. I'll get some photos up shortly. It is darn small!
In reply to Dave :
Did it even need a trailer or did you load it into a Ranger in place of the spare tire?
Originally based on the Austin Mini so about that size. My last car was a 1961 Pontiac sedan so a bit of a downsize.

Mostly because it only saw duty on the street from 1984 to 1986 likely. 64k kms on it (just under 40k miles). There are a few tiny spots of superficial rust from paint chips but the underside looks like new.
Looks SO much better in your pic than in the ads.
Neat car, good for you for taking this little gem on.
So, when you need parts for this do you just run down to Canadian Tire and head straight to the Innocenti isle?
Rockauto has no listing for Innocenti. But, they do have a listing for Humpmobile (though all you can buy are spark plugs. )
That picture is from the rear. The Daihatsu Charade shares some mechanical bits.
Here is some more photos as bought - https://www.flickr.com/photos/daveseven/albums/72157673137035928
Was that another one in front of it in that Conex?
I've been daydreaming of Daihatsui MINI myself for a while:
Awesome find!
Oh wow. I guess many more $$$ for the go-fast one?
My favorite design element of this thing has got to be the little downforce spoiler built into the roofline. This thing makes a Scion Xb or Juke look boring.
Not sure if he was willing to sell the turbo one. They are occasionally up for sale. Unusually in poor or perfect condition.
I had a 1984 Innocenti as my very first car! It was a blast to zip around in and it cornered on 3 wheels with ease! In high school people would always pick up the back end and drag it around. I usually found it with the back tires up on top of the parking curb.
One piece of advice...these engines tend to overheat quite easily. I found switching to synthetic oil made a huge difference.
good luck and have fun with it!
