Ran into this show on Youtube. Give it some love if you want to see your own DIY skills schooled by a teenage girl.

I haven't watched that much of it, but she gets into some pretty complicated builds as part of the resto. Guessing her budget falls rather far short of Roadkill or Project Binky. I'm impressed.

Thanks, that was fun. Skimmed through a few. At first I wondered how much was really her effort and how much was the producers, but I have to say that I was impressed with what she does.

I've made it through the first 3. The reinforcement of the HF garage and circuit building for the air pumps is impressive.
I didn't watch much of the tent or air part- was more interested in the work on the car.
She wants to meet Chris Hemsworth, but I think she needs to meet Edd China- given him being a car celebrity AND a bug guy.
BTW, so much for kids not liking cars. Some may not, but others are infatuated at a very young age. And I know we have a few of them here on this board, too.
Very cool.
Pretty cool skills for a 12 year old
Very cool. I think I am going to subject my kids to this tonight.
I am going to get my 16 year old to watch these. We are working on his old Ford together and he needs some motivation.
And I'm not as smart as her dad.
I'll have to check this out when I stop for the night.
My teacher daughter is going to start using this to show critical thinking skills and how a project or task might not be as simple as you think because you might need multiple other skills or things done in order to complete it. Kinda a preparation for life

I'm not a teenage girl but even I would have a hard time choosing edd China over Chris hemsworth.

Meeting the person of your dreams, sure. In the context of what she is doing- China all the way. She's roughly doing a very long version of Wheeler Dealer- including doing a pretty good job having some character. And since Edd is a VW guy....
Although in the context of meeting anyone "famous", the most likely person would be Tim.. Or better, Margie. When they are up doing an event at Lime Rock, they could swing up and feature her here- reminding us that there are kids who still love cars.
